THE BARK BENEFIT 2023

September 23rd

Meydenbauer Center

6:00 PM

At Saving Great Animals, we work hard all year long to help the forgotten, the neglected, the abused and the abandoned dogs that are euthanized in shelters by the thousands every day. We make them a promise that we will help them find a great new home. Fulfilling this promise requires passion, empathy, commitment and most of all, funds.

For this year’s Benefit, we are raising funds specifically to expand our rehabilitation program for fearful and shut-down dogs. Our program offers a second chance to dogs who otherwise would have no hope of being adopted. Funds raised will be used create additional space required to accommodate dogs in urgent need of help.

Our host this year is David Frei, Voice of the Westminster Dog Show!
David is a friend to animals everywhere and is well known to millions of television viewers as the longtime co-host (21 years) of the popular Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show.  He has made many appearances on "The Today Show," "Good Morning America," "The Early Show," "Ellen," "The View," "Martha Stewart," "Charlie Rose" and more. He has been director of communications for the Westminster Kennel Club since 2003. David also has been co-host on NBC of "The National Dog Show" on Thanksgiving Day since its inception, a telecast seen by about 20 million viewers every year.

Our co-host is Jodi Brothers, the wonderful and hilarious host of 95.7 the Jet's Jodi & Bender Mornings. Jodi has hosted the Bark Benefit every year since its inception 6 years ago and we know we can count on her and David to create an evening you won't want to miss.

We are looking forward to seeing you on September 23rd for a fun evening filled with amazing auction items, delicious food and the company of fellow dog lovers!
