About Us

Some dogs arrive with broken bones. Some need surgery. Some have been so traumatized by neglect that shelters can't safely house them. Most rescue organizations have to say no. Saving Great Animals says yes. 

Since 2007, we've placed more than 10,000 dogs into loving Seattle-area homes. We have no shelter and no kennels. Instead, we rely on a network of volunteer foster families who open their homes, and a professional staff who coordinates their care, covers their medical costs, and finds them the perfect match.
