The Bark Benefit is Saving Great Animals' premier annual fundraiser, and the engine behind every dog we rescue. Funds raised go directly to lifesaving medical care, rehabilitation, and the foster network that gives every dog a real home while they wait for the right family.

We Save the Dogs Others Can't

Since 2007, we've placed over 10,000 dogs into Seattle-area homes, with no shelter, no kennels, and a 3% return rate (compared to 30–50% at traditional shelters). Every dog gets individualized care in a real family environment, and we go further on medical costs than almost anyone else: orthopedic surgeries, cardiac procedures, dentals. If a dog needs it, we find a way.
